Quasar Khanh – Popville exibition

Beyond being a place of work and meetings, the Tuileries trade shows are no less than a place of cultural discovery open to all the artistic disciplines.
This edition is no exception with two exhibitions exclusively presented in the Paris sur Mode Tuileries tents and an exhibition dedicated to fashion accessories in Premiere Classe Tuileries.

We would like to particularly thank our partners: the publishing house Albin Michel for the “POPVILLE : hommage à Quasar Khanh” exhibition, the International Fashion and Photography Festival de Hyères and lastly, ANDAM (National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts).

An exclusive preview of the monograph dedicated to the Tonkinese artist (scheduled release in March 2017), Paris sur Mode Tuileries welcomes the POPVILLE exhibition which exhibits the legendary pop creations of Quasar Khanh (1934 – 2016). A reinterpretation of the leading figures of the New Wave, Aerospace inflatable furniture and the cube car perfectly reflect the carefree and dynamic attitude of the late 60s.

A lifestyle vision of Paris
Fashion thrives from all that surrounds it because it is the consumers who have a craving for lifestyle, Etienne Cochet, General Manager of the Tuileries trade shows, wished to pay tribute to Quasar Khanh, a visionary designer with an infinite imagination.
